  I never thought I would have to post a review about a place that was so special to me. May of 2017 I lost my brother, this is the most hardest and devastating thing that has happened to me and my family. I am only sharing this because I was treated in a way that I can't believe. I was the lead Pre-k teacher in GH Round-rock location for 11 months, I gained lots of knowledge from the owner (Nan) and other staff that came before me. I loved each and everyone of my students and was always there emotionally and physically for the owner and so was she to me. The week of my brother death I immediately gave notice to the owner. She responded asking if me and my family needed anything but immediately ask if I found someone to cover my absence. I totally felt crushed and felt no compassion for someone who I respected. I'm also hurt because no one at Greenhouse (staff) knew why I was out from work, the admin states that it's confidential to spill employees personal business but I believe if we're a TEAM and family why shouldn't something as important as your employer grieving a close lost is all of a sudden confidential. I can go on and on. I did NOT quit I specifically stated "I don't want to work in an environment that doesn't care about me!" The admin told me that I quit. I know the owner always stated she will never as long as she loves provide unemployment to anyone who worked in her facility, I don't want a penny of GH money and that is why they made a decision for me I am certain. Also last but not least I have never been given a raise I even refused a raise until I felt I was worthy of one, it was never mentioned almost a year in Lol! Sometimes you have to take a step back and observe. I'm sure many may think I shouldn't have posted this but I made an effort to speak personally and it was only on her terms. I wouldn't tell parents "Don't bring your child here." But I will say put your child in the hands of people with COMPASSION!
